a thesis devotional . . .

As many of you know, I have been trying to pound out a thoughtful thesis. I stop and start and stop and now I am starting (I have lost count in this dance). So here I am, a student, a writer with a cause, posting it out there for all to see, I AM WRITING!

To boot, here is my nightmare desk--oh, but I love it! The stories it will tell. I might spiff it up and, at that point, I will post a picture of a temporarily clean desk. With that said, I give the dogs a great deal of credit. They have been very generous to share their space with me and they continually strive to inspire me by napping at my side . . . they are going to keep close tabs on my internet usage, they will!

Oh, I have also added a playlist of thesis songs so I can listen while I work. Some have lyrics, and they may get tossed but, I have a lot of George Winston (thanks to my brother). If anyone has any ideas about great music to add, I would love to hear about it. I love Nora Jones and Evanescence but wonder if they will get nixed if they prove to be too distracting. U2 is hugely inspiring but Bono and the beloved gang can be a bit distracting. So, no U2 unless I have a brain freeze that only they can solve.

So here we are! Fingers crossed, positive thoughts, deep breathes and cursing when necessary. Now to write . . .

  4. Hello there. I'm glad you stopped by my blog and enjoyed it. I love to write and I write to entertain, so I get a sense of accomplishment when people enjoy it and want to read more.

Thanks for linking up to me. I'll link up to you too. Good luck on your paper. And if you want some good music to write to, I highly recommend Zucchero and Muse. There's something about Muse that makes the words just flow right out of me. That band couldn't have been named more appropriately.
